Robert Studin is the Executive Director of Financial Advisory Services for Lincoln Financial Advisors/Sagemark Consulting. He has been with Lincoln since 1994. Rob joined First Financial Group of the South, Inc. in 1985. He serves as the President of the Firm and Director of the Firm's Planning Department. Prior to joining First Financial Group, Rob was a Partner with Berk, Patterson, PC, Certified Public Accountants and before that worked with Arthur Andersen. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Alabama and his JD* from Cumberland School of Law.
In his role as Executive Director of Financial Advisory Services for Lincoln Financial Advisors, he is responsible for the Delivery of Wealth Management and Financial Planning Services on a national basis.
During his career, he has worked with clients in every financial situation. While he still maintains responsibility for the overall financial planning process of the Firm, Rob now specializes in designing solutions for business owners and executives with estate tax, executive compensation and business succession considerations.
Rob holds the CFP® (CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™) certification; and PFS (Personal Financial Specialist, awarded by the AICPA) designation and is a CPA*, JD*, ChFC® (Chartered Financial Consultant) and CLU (Certified Life Underwriter) and a member of the Alabama Society of Financial Planning Association and the AICPA.
Rob was named in Worth magazine's article titled "Top Financial Advisors" in every year since 1996, Medical Economics' article "120 Best Advisors for Doctors," and received the Leadership Award from the MS Foundation. He has been published and quoted in various business and financial magazines.
Rob and his wife Joy have two daughters, Amy and Jessica. In his spare time, Rob enjoys golf, tennis, reading and coaching.
